Maturation in high-temperature regions also allows for the production of whiskies with unusual richness despite the aging process not being prolonged: the angels' share, or the liquid lost during whisky aging, averages around 12% per year.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eTASTING NOTES: On the palate it is spicy and floral, with subtle notes of oak and vanilla.
