A rum entirely aged in a tropical climate, in 500-liter ex-Sherry Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez barrels of the highest quality, sourced from some of Andalusia's most renowned bodegas. In 2017, the Lustau bodegas supplied Hampden with 500-liter European oak Sherry butts that had contained high-quality Oloroso Pata de Gallina and Pedro Jiménez for 3 years. Hampden then used these perfectly seasoned Sherry butts to age its Pure Single Rum in a tropical climate. The result is a perfect marriage between an intense and unique rum and the finest Sherry butts.

Pagos is named after the definition of plots and terroir in the Sherry tradition.
