SER JACOPO
Ser Jacopo was founded by Giancarlo Guidi and Bruto Sordini in 1984. Following Sordini's departure, it was led by Guidi alone.
Once again, a brilliant idea in the choice of name and logo: a painting depicting an ancient nobleman, a grand name Ser Jacopone, Ser Jacopo is more immediately perceptible and once again the name is instantly imprinted in the public's memory, as is the logo which represents, somewhat disguised, Guidi himself. All pipes are branded with “Ser Jacopo - Fatta A Mano In Italia - Per Aspera Ad Astra”.
Per Aspera Ad Astra is a Latin phrase engraved on all Ser Jacopo pipes. It translates to "Through hardship to the stars," meaning that success comes through hard work.
