Once upon a time there was an old carpenter, Master Geppetto.

He had a lot of imagination and love for his work.

One day, a friend, Master Cherry, gave him a beautiful old log, certain that he would be pleased.

The next day, early in the morning, Master Geppetto took the old log in hand and decided to build a beautiful puppet so that its presence would chase away the melancholy of loneliness.

He began to work on it with great zeal and in the end he found himself with a puppet that, with a breath of magic, came to life and thus became his life companion.
