MAMA QUILLA XA
Mama Quilla XA rum is made from high-quality raw materials: the sugarcane juice, once pressed, is constantly heated for 3 days to obtain a sugar concentration of 70% and a compound defined as sugarcane honey. The obtained honey is then fermented, distilled in column stills and subsequently aged in ex-bourbon barrels using the Solera method in a tropical climate: this allows for faster aging compared to aging in European climates. The rums are then blended and left to rest in old ex-cognac oak barrels.
Mama Quilla XA is a bright golden rum, with a balanced and elegant profile, round and smooth on the palate with a pleasant aromatic complexity.
During tasting, notes of exotic fruit, cinnamon and cocoa emerge. Smooth and honeyed, it evolves towards a flavored finish of crème brûlée and sweet spices.
