MICHTER'S SINGLE BARREL RYE
A recipe that does not include an excessively high amount of rye allows this rye to play on elegance and delicacy on the palate. One of the highest expressions of rye whiskey on the market. Aged in barrels charred by direct fire. Use of virgin American oak barrels.
Born from the original recipe of the Shenk family, it is produced with the finest variety of American rye, processed and crushed to obtain maximum flavor. A Single Barrel that ages in American white oak wood where it reaches the peak of perfection, expressing itself with incredible organoleptic characteristics and high levels of quality.
Amber, consistent and luminous to the eye. Decisive on the nose with intense aromas of rye, spices and citrus nuances of cedar; notes of caramel and oak wood on the finish. Creamy, warm and balanced, the taste is in line with the olfactory, with a flavor based on hints of rye, encompassed by suggestions of wet tobacco and a dry and woody streak that also traces the final persistence.
