Port Askaig is a range of Single Malts from the famous island of Islay and are named after the homonymous north-eastern site of the island, directly opposite Jura. Port Askaig 8 Y.O. is an excellent bottle for approaching Islay. No caramel addition or filtration. Refill American oak. Its alcohol content of 45.8% vol, high for an "entry-level" whisky, is proof of the quality and care that this independent bottler puts into its bottles.

Uncoloured and non-chill filtered, it retains its vitality and offers a robustly peated profile with charming nuances.
