Some of the more popular pipe models feature barcode labels. Missuri Meerschaum has been doing this in recent years at the request of wholesalers who use UPC scanning devices for inventory and sales. Some other pipes have the traditional factory label and most of them have a wooden stopper at the bottom of the bowl. Some of the newer pipes feature labels, such as the Stag label, created for the 155th anniversary. Cornel & Diehl pipes have C&D labels, as they are collaboration pipes.
