FOGLIA
Zippo gasoline lighter. These are practical lighters, capable of producing a flame even in windy conditions, and are renowned for being among the few lighters that still use gasoline as fuel. It is utilized through the combustion of its vapors, released via a wick submerged in a cotton ball saturated with it. The use of original Zippo fuel is recommended. A characteristic element of Zippo production from 1933 to today is the use of a code on the base and the burner of each lighter, which identifies its production year.
The current date coding system uses a letter and a two-digit number to identify the month and year of production
- Letters A to L represent the month (A for January, B for February, etc.)
- The two digits correspond to the year they were created: 14 for 2014
