Some of the most popular pipe models feature barcoded labels. Missuri Meerschaum has done this in recent years at the request of wholesalers who use UPC scanning devices for inventory and sales. Some other pipes feature the traditional factory label, and most of them have a wooden plug at the bottom of the bowl. Some of the newer pipes feature labels, such as the Stag label, which was created for the 155th anniversary. Cornel & Diehl pipes have C&D labels, as they are collaboration pipes.
